Mammal Status

LEISLER'S BAT Nyctalus leisleri
STATUS: Unknown.

Occurs at a few sites in the Peak District and adjacent areas. It is also known from the Trent valley and NE Derbyshire. This is quite a rare species nationally and the population in Derbyshire and South Yorkshire represents a major concentration
